Andersen Storm

Permeasophy.The Sustaining Permeability of Being.

“The sustaining permeability of Being names the traversable borderland between condensed order and breathing ground—a realm in which openness is experienced not as groundlessness, but as being held.”

Author’s own quotation — Andersen Storm, August 5, 2026

Philosophy of Permeability

Permeasophy is the philosophical mode of thought and writing developed by Andersen Storm: it abstracts from what can be experienced toward the relations that sustain it, without treating the resulting order as complete.

It combines far-reaching conceptual development with the recognition that every World Recognition arises within limited perception.

The name Permeasophy was introduced only after the first elaboration of the Conceptual System of the Permeability of Being. The mode of thought it names was, however, already at work in the foundational work Love? Not an Option.

The naming came later, not the mode of thought.

Mode of Thought and Work

Permeasophy is the mode of thought.

The Conceptual System of the Permeability of Being is its conceptual elaboration.

Love? Not an Option is its first published foundational form.

This Text Grows continues its conceptual development, examination, and expansion.

Permeasophical

Permeasophical describes books, essays, and other works in which Permeasophy is not merely discussed, but enacted in subject matter, style, conceptual development, and movement of thought.

In this sense, Andersen Storm’s books and essays are permeasophical works.

Permeasoph

A Permeasoph thinks, writes, or works permeasophically.

Andersen Storm is the founder of Permeasophy and the first author of permeasophical works.

“Andersen Storm—a Permeasoph from the very beginning.”
